Primera de cuatro serigrafías que ando haciendo ahora en Guadalajara, Mexico. lustran la Cumbia de las luchas, una cancion que habla de la lucha libre mexicana; a la que me he aficionado cantidá. Cada ilustración representa una de las cuatro llaves que se mencionan y está inspirada en el bombardeo constante de kitch con el que uno se encuentra en esta ciudad.
First of four silkscreen prints I'm working on at the moment here in Guadalajara, Mexico. They illustrate the "Cumbia de las Luchas", a song about Mexican wrestling; which I've become quite fond of. Each print represents one of the four catches they mention in the song and is inspired by the overdone kitchy atmosfere of this city.
